Join Us for the Friends of Westgate Park Spring Clean Up-This Saturday!

Dear Westgate Neighbors,

Spring is here, and there’s no better way to welcome the season than by helping to spruce up our beautiful Westgate Park! The Friends of Westgate Park are hosting our first clean-up event of the year, and we need your help to make it a success. We all love a beautiful and tidy park, but it doesn’t happen without dedicated volunteers like you. The more hands we have, the faster we can accomplish our clean-up goals!

EVENT DETAILS:

• Date: Saturday, March 29, 2025

• Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

• Location: Meet at the enclosed shelter house parking lot in Westgate Park

• What to Bring: All necessary tools will be provided, but please bring your own work gloves if you have them.

We’ll be clearing away old debris, picking up trash, and preparing the park for a fresh and vibrant spring season. Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or a first-timer, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on the park we all cherish!

Please note: There will be no access to restrooms or water on-site, so be sure to bring anything you may need. As always, the event is weather-dependent, so check for updates on our page. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, our backup date is Saturday, April 5, 2025.

This clean-up is not just about taking care of the park — it’s about strengthening our community and making our neighborhood a cleaner, greener place. Let’s come together to make a difference!

We hope to see you there! Feel free to bring family and friends — the more hands, the better!
Let’s make this spring clean-up one to remember!

Warm regards,

The Friends of Westgate Park Team
