Creative Connections is a free biannual meet-up and art showcase for artists and other creatives that we host at Thunderwing Brewing. All are welcome! There’s no gatekeeping here. Our goal is to facilitate networking among creatives from a variety of artistic backgrounds in a friendly, laid-back environment. Feel free to bring a piece to talk about during our art showcase too! We provide snacks; attendees are on their own for purchasing drinks.
Join us for our bi-annual Hilltop Arts Collective Creative Connections Meet-Up! Please RSVP (reserve a free ticket) so we know how much food to bring. We provide snacks; you’re on your own for purchasing drinks. In addition to beer and other alcohol options, Thunderwing carries many zero proof drinks. Outside food can be brought in as well.
Attendees are encouraged (but certainly not required) to bring an example of their work for a mini show-and-tell. For some, this could be a physical item they bring, but for others, it could be a digital representation (photo of a mural or web design).
This go-round we’ll be joined by a Greater Columbus Arts Council (GCAC) navigator so all of our talented local artists can learn more about the funding and connection opportunities they offer!

The Westgate Neighbors Association Scholarship was established in 2015 as an extension of our mission to “help our community thrive”. The $1000 postsecondary education scholarship is funded by a portion of the proceeds from the Westgate Home & Garden Tour. It is awarded annually to a qualified resident of Westgate who contributes to the betterment of their community through their demonstrated service and leadership. While GPA and course selection are considered, the committee is focused more on the candidates’ involvement with their communities.

If it is determined by the scholarship committee that none of the applicants meet the eligibility requirements, or embody the standards by which the scholarship was established, we reserve the right not to award the scholarship for the current year.
