Wags and Whiskers 2025: A Paws-itively Perfect Day!
Wags and Whiskers 2025 was a tail-wagging triumph! Over 200 people—and plenty of their furry (and even hoofed!) companions—came out to enjoy a beautiful afternoon filled with fun, community, and compassion.
Visitors browsed 30 amazing vendors, including six dedicated dog and cat rescue organizations, supporting local businesses and animal welfare in one great event. A highlight of the day was the ever-popular Pet Pageant, which saw a record-breaking 21 adorable contestants strut their stuff. Big congratulations to Bubba the horse and his rider Brianna Yarney, who were crowned the 2025 Westgate Super Sidekick!
The generosity of our community really shined through in the Red Rover Raffle, which raised over $1,000 for local pet charities. Huge thanks to all the businesses who donated such fantastic prizes.
