Westgate: Unexpected. We have heard that term, seen it on the website, even displayed on yard signs around the neighborhood. But how did we come up with such a phrase? In 2010, our neighborhood gathered to discuss how special we really are and came up with a list of key words that captured how we felt about our slice of Columbus. Some key takeaways were “Oasis, Inviting, Down to Earth, Out of the Box, Personality, and Open Gate.” We brainstormed and brainstormed, writing down TONS of possibilities. But what did all these things have in common? It’s all Unexpected.
