We have a BEAUTIFUL Welcome to Westgate mural that was finished in mid October, 2024. It was painted by Hilltop resident Clint Davidson as part of a 614 Beautiful grant. It is located on the east side of 3085 W. Broad St. at Westgate Ave. Davidson said this about the design/creation of the piece: “The design of this image was inspired by vintage postcards and signage. The building it was painted on as well as the neighborhood of Westgate were both built in the 1920’s. The lettering style and the composition of the piece were lead by this 1920’s aesthetic. I tried to make the colors modern but something that could have existed in the 20’s as well.
